Had a tremendous day in Hull yesterday, as part of City of Culture 2017! The official launch of Fountain 17 project saw a massive turn out, with brilliant new art works, performances and lectures, throughout the day and set in three separate art galleries set along Humber Street, with a backdrop of the Marina and North Sea - and all totally crowded out, wonderful!! Including a new work 'Marcel's Last Word' for instrumental ensemble and spoken voices, created by me and Gillian, and I was also delighted to be invited to speak a little about the piece and about the project too. A long, but very inspiring day - thank you Hull and thank you Fountain 17 for inviting us along on this exciting artistic journey.
